The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations and support development.
Simple AI is a voice AI platform that automates inbound sales and support calls. Its agents use advanced voice AI technology and have access to the customer’s full product catalogue, including SKUs, details, and pricing. During calls, the agent personalizes the conversation using real-time data, and can perform tasks like placing orders. Each call also generates a full transcript, summary, and actionable insights.
Latency affects how quickly AI models respond, which is especially important for voice AI. Simple AI’s technology keeps response times under 850ms for the whole process—voice detection, turn-ending, transcription, inference, and text-to-speech—allowing smooth, natural conversations between business agents and customers.
“Creating voice agents that do better than human sales teams is challenging, and I’m very proud of what our team has accomplished.”
Simple AI’s technology solves three common contact center problems: seasonal call spikes, low worker effectiveness and inconsistent performance. It scales during busy times, learns from top performing reps and stays consistently reliable. The platform also lets businesses experiment with each agent’s speed, gender, and accent, and personalize calls with customer preferences, purchase history, and more.
Simple AI’s voice agents help businesses sell products and services—from steak to self-storage to home insurance. They convert and upsell up to 30% more than trained human reps.
“People dislike calling businesses because the experience is usually frustrating,” said Catheryn Li, co-founder and CEO of Simple AI. “When voice agents do their job well and make calls enjoyable, people will want to call again. Phone calls will grow because speaking is the most natural way to communicate. Creating voice agents that outperform human sales teams is challenging, and I’m very proud of what our team has accomplished.”
“Imagine if your best sales rep could take every call,” said Zach Kamran, co-founder and CTO of Simple AI. “Simple AI agents instantly know every product detail and all your customers’ preferences.”
“Cat and Zach are some of the best we work with,” said First Harmonic Partner JJ Fliegelman. “Quietly and without fanfare, they built their entire voice AI system from scratch to create the best product. They’re skilled engineers, humble, and fully focused on customers — exactly the qualities you want in great founders.”
