The company plans to use the funds to expand its research and development and accelerate the expansion of its global sales and service network.
Flexiv is a global leader in general-purpose robotics. Unlike traditional robots that follow preprogrammed motion paths, Flexiv’s force-sensing technology and embodied AI allow its robots to respond to real-world conditions. This helps them work in less structured environments, adjust in real time to changes, and handle delicate tasks that have usually required human labor.
After building a strong presence in North America and China, Flexiv is now expanding in Europe and Asia, strengthening its position as a global industry leader.
Invus uses a long-term investment approach and supports companies without the short-term pressure of quick exits. This helps it build lasting partnerships with management teams in consumer, technology, and healthcare.
After nearly 10 years of development, Flexiv has created a scalable robotics portfolio that includes robot arms, grippers, AMR platforms, and delta robots. By connecting digital intelligence with physical action, Flexiv is building robots that can work alongside people to improve efficiency and safety.
Invus, the lead investor in this round, is a global investment firm with offices in New York, Paris, and Hong Kong. Founded in 1985, the firm focuses on long-term investing and value creation. It manages more than $12 billion in assets and looks for companies with strong fundamentals and high growth potential.
“Our technology has helped us grow from our beginnings in California to a global stage,” said Shiquan Wang, Co-founder and CEO of Flexiv. “Our goal has always been to build robots that can work in the real world and solve problems that traditional automation cannot. I’m proud to say we have done that. This investment will help us expand globally while continuing to invest in long-term technology development as we build the infrastructure of the future.”
About Flexiv
