Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS), a global leader in highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement and control solutions, announced the acquisition of Airity Technologies, a Redwood City, California-based provider of next-generation, high voltage power conversion products and technologies for applications in semiconductor, industrial and medical markets.

Airity Technologies adds a portfolio of Gallium Nitride (GaN) based high frequency, power conversion and pulsing technologies, which enable a step function improvement in power density and response time. Leveraging Airity’s proven technologies, Advanced Energy will address a broader range of applications in its target markets.The company expects the acquisition to be immaterial to 2024 financial forecasts. Terms were not disclosed.
