The defense industrial base has to be able to produce orders of magnitude more than it does now, as the US and its allies strive to achieve cheap mass with autonomous systems, weapons, and munitions. Anduril is putting our own money into hyperscale weaponry production utilizing the same quick, flexible, and scalable methods used in commercial manufacturing to help with that endeavor.

Arsenal is a software-defined manufacturing platform designed to produce weapons and autonomous systems in large quantities. The arsenal platform uses four principles—software-defined production, robust supply chain, design for simplicity and scalability, and central infrastructure—a factory named Arsenal-1—to reach hyperscale.
