Florida-Based Core Scientific Appoints Jay Elms as Chief Commercial Officer

In his new role, Elms will focus on building customer relationships and managing the customer experience from the first contact through deployment.

Elms brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and commercial leadership. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales at CyrusOne.

Before that, he spent nearly seven years as Vice President of Global Sales at NTT Global Data Centers Americas, where he worked with hyperscale and wholesale customers. Earlier, he held sales leadership roles at View, Schneider Electric, and Siemens.

Elms holds an MBA in Finance from the SMU Cox School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in construction science from Texas A&M University.
