LiveU and DRONERESPONDERS Announce Strategic Partnership

The collaboration aims to improve how aerial data is used for real time decisions. Using LiveU’s LRT™ technology, public safety teams can securely stream high-definition drone video over combined cellular, WiFi, and satellite networks. This helps maintain a stable connection even in disaster areas where network traffic is heavy or unreliable.

LiveU is used by public safety agencies to stream real-time drone video to the cloud, enabling a shared live view for command centers and field teams. This partnership is designed to improve first responder operations by adding reliable, high-quality live video into drone systems used in law enforcement, homeland security, emergency response, and disaster recovery.

LiveU and DRONERESPONDERS are partnering on education, technology demonstrations, and community support initiatives. The collaboration includes joint webinars and training through the UNITE program to share live streaming best practices, live demonstrations of LiveU’s portable encoders integrated with public safety drone systems at major events like OHCON, NCCOM, CALCON, and TEXCON, and broader support for DRONERESPONDERS’ mission to advance drone and related technologies in public safety to improve officer safety and help build safer, more resilient communities.
