Micropep, the global leader in micropeptide technology, has raised $29 million Series B funding round along with its proprietary discovery platform, Krisalix. The funding round was led by Zebra Impact Ventures, and BPI Green Tech Investment.

All existing investors, Fall Line Capital, FMC Ventures, Sofinnova Partners, Supernova Invest, and IRDI Capital Investissement also participated, bringing the company’s total funding to more than $51.8 million.

This new round of funding will help Micropep to finalize the regulatory studies of our first micropeptide molecule and continue expanding our pipeline of new micropeptide active ingredients. Micropep ambition is to become a global provider of new micropeptide active ingredients to industry, working hand in hand with partners to develop functional formulated solutions.

With this Series B round, Micropep aims to accelerate its go-to-market strategy based on partnerships and to finalise the regulatory studies of its first bio-fungicide molecule while further developing its pipeline of micro-peptide active ingredients based on its Krisalix platform.
