Respan, a proactive observability platform for AI agents, has raised $5M in seed funding led by Gradient Ventures (Google’s AI-focused venture fund), with participation from Y Combinator, Hat-Trick Capital, XIAOXIAO FUND, Antigravity Capital, Alpen Capital, and incredible angels and AI founders.

We built Respan because we experienced these problems firsthand. Every AI team we talked to was stitching together logging, eval frameworks, and alerting tools — and still struggling to maintain confidence in production.

Over the last year, Respan has grown to support 100+ startups and enterprise teams. Today the platform processes 1B+ logs and 2T+ tokens every month, supporting 6.5M+ end users. We grew revenue more than 8x YoY in 2025.
