
1Fort, an AI-powered business insurance platform, has announced an oversubscribed $7.5 million funding round led by Bonfire Ventures, with participation from Draper Associates (Tim Draper), Karim Atiyeh (Co-founder of Ramp), and returning investors Village Global, Operator Partners, 8āBit Capital, Character VC, and Company Ventures. This brings the companyās total funding to $10 million.

The raise comes amid growing demand for smarter insurance solutionsā70% of businesses rely on brokers, yet 75% remain underinsured. With a 200% month-over-month revenue growth in 2024, 1Fort has quickly established itself as a key player in the insurtech space. The platform is licensed in all 50 states and is integrated with major insurance carriers, including Arch, The Hartford, and Markel.
The new capital will fuel AI innovation to streamline broker workflows, scale engineering and product teams, and deepen partnerships with carriers and brokerages.
