American Startups Funding Roundup

Fervo Energy

Fervo Energy, the leader in next-generation geothermal development, has secured $255 million in new funding and capital availability as it continues to build the world’s largest enhanced geothermal systems (“EGS”) power development. The announced funding comprises both opportunistic corporate equity and new debt financing.

ŌURA 

ŌURA, the company behind Oura Ring, the world’s leading smart ring, announced the completion of a $200 million Series D funding round. Fidelity Management & Research Company and Dexcom, the global leader in glucose biosensing, participated in the round. The investment raises the company’s valuation to $5.2 billion.

Remodel Health

Remodel Health, the #1 Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) provider for brokers, has raised more than $100 million from Oak HC/FT and Hercules Capital, Inc. in growth funding.

Borealis Biosciences

Borealis Biosciences, a next-generation RNA medicines company, announced the appointment of Christian Hordo as CEO; a $30 million infusion from an extension of the Series A led by Westlake BioPartners; and the addition of three new board directors, David Allison, Ph.D., Tom Frohlich and Catherine Thut, Ph.D.

Plume announce a new $20M Series A funding round from both leading crypto & traditional financial institutions: Brevan Howard Digital, Lightspeed Faction, Haun Ventures, Galaxy Ventures, Hashkey, Laser Digital (Nomura Group), 280 Capital, Superscrypt, A Capital, SV Angel, Reciprocal Ventures, and others.

Kurrent

Event-native data platform innovator Kurrent announced $12 million in funding, its rebrand from Event Store and the official launch of Kurrent Enterprise Edition, now commercially available.

Chargezoom

Chargezoom, a leading platform for AI-powered billing and integrated payments, announced today it has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding, led by Salt Lake City’s Kickstart Fund.

Mojave

Mojave Energy Systems, founded to change the nature of air conditioning, has raised $9.5 million in Series A funding. The Series A round was led by existing investors Fifth Wall and At One Ventures, with participation from returning investors Myriad Venture Partners, Starshot Capital, Alumni Ventures Group, and new investor Earth Venture Capital.

Mantis Robotics

Mantis Robotics, a pioneer in Physical AI for robotic automation, has secured $5M in new investments led by Emerald Technology Ventures with participation from the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund.

Leap Financial announce the closing of a $3.5M seed round, led by Fuel Venture Capital and Ascendo Venture Capital. A major milestone contributing to the long-term mission to transform cross-border financial inclusion across the US and LAC.
