BotGauge AI, a Dover, DE-based autonomous quality-assurance-as-a-solution startup, has raised $2 million in a funding round led by Surface Ventures.
The round also saw participation from IA Seed Ventures and Saka Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its research and development, improve its autonomous agents, and expand across the U.S. and other key markets.
BotGauge AI is a U.S.-based Autonomous Quality Assurance startup that takes responsibility for software quality results instead of just providing tools. Using AI-powered testing agents, BotGauge identifies testing needs, creates and maintains test coverage, and runs tests across the entire QA process, supported by in-house QA experts. This allows engineering teams to focus on building and fixing issues while BotGauge manages quality, coverage, and release reliability.
AI-driven development has made software faster to build, update, and release than ever before. However, quality systems have not kept pace, creating risks such as production defects, and higher post-release costs. To solve this, QA needs to become autonomous and scalable, working at the same speed as modern software development.

Early deployments with customers such as Sully.AI, OroLabs, Kitsa, and Ripple have delivered strong results, including 80% faster test coverage, about 75% fewer production bugs and release cycles up to 50% faster without increasing the QA team size.
Over the next 12–24 months, BotGauge AI plans to strengthen its engineering capabilities and expand adoption among mid-sized and fast growing software companies worldwide. In the long term, the company aims to make autonomous quality assurance a core part of modern software development, helping teams release faster with greater reliability and confidence at scale.
