The company plans to use the funds to keep investing in technology and to expand further across the acuity spectrum.
Talkiatry uses a proprietary AI-powered platform to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its clinical operations. It automates back-office tasks, keeps patients engaged between visits, helps health systems connect patients to care, and supports new payment models with insurers. As Talkiatry’s patient base grows, this technology, combined with a physician-led approach, helps maintain high quality and consistency as it scales and expands across different levels of care.
As the largest private employer of psychiatrists in the U.S., Talkiatry directly employs over 800 full-time psychiatrists. The company has provided 3 million patient visits and works with more than 100 insurers nationwide, covering over 170 million people. Since starting its Mindshare Partner Program in late 2023, Talkiatry has partnered with over a third of the country’s top 20 health systems and more than 50 systems overall to provide high-quality, in-network psychiatric care.
Payers and health systems choose Talkiatry because its care model delivers better results for large patient groups. After two visits, 87% of patients treated for anxiety and 86% treated for depression see symptom improvement, with 67% and 62% no longer showing clinically significant symptoms. Talkiatry also has an early dropout rate that is up to 60% lower than the industry average, helping patients stay in care and reducing the risk of more expensive treatment.
Treating conditions like anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, postpartum depression, OCD, and PTSD, Talkiatry has a 76 NPS score, showing strong patient satisfaction. In 2025, it was named one of North America’s fastest-growing companies on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ and is regularly recognized by Fortune, and Great Place to Work as one of the best companies to work for.
In its latest clinician survey, 90% of psychiatrists said they would recommend working at Talkiatry. Clinicians report 80% less burnout than the industry average, including lower emotional exhaustion and a greater sense of accomplishment. Patients also report stronger connections, with Talkiatry’s therapeutic alliance scores 22% higher than peers, and 92% of patients forming a strong rapport with their clinicians.
“Talkiatry is defining the future of psychiatry with a proven national model of employed psychiatrists supported by our proprietary technology,” said Robert Krayn, CEO and cofounder of Talkiatry. “Health systems, payers, and employers keep choosing Talkiatry to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.”
“Talkiatry has created a national provider network powered by a proprietary AI platform, giving it strong control over care quality at scale,” said Michael Altman, Head of Strategy at Perceptive Advisors. “With consistent results in outcomes, engagement, and patient experience, the company is shaping the future of psychiatric care in the U.S. Our investment supports this long-term vision.”
