The company plans to use the funds to grow and enhance its AI voice platform for guest communication in hospitality, helping restaurants, hotels, and venues better serve customers.
Slang AI is the first AI platform built specifically for hospitality. Its custom-trained voice AI answers every guest call with accuracy, warmth, and professionalism, creating a great first impression. Available 24/7, it does more than answer questions—it can book reservations, direct important requests to the right staff, handle guest inquiries quickly, and recognize returning guests and VIPs.
Slang AI’s solution is a custom-built voice platform that captures every call, turns inquiries into bookings, and frees up staff so they can focus on providing great service.
- Answers calls right away, even at night and on weekends;
- Manages reservations, private dining, catering, and common guest questions;
- Identifies important inquiries and sends them to the right team.
- Connects with reservation, event, and CRM systems; and
- Works through the channels guests already use, including voice and text.
The platform records and tracks every guest interaction, giving operators clear insight into incoming demand, faster bookings, and more consistent service. It also helps restaurants control costs by increasing revenue without hiring more staff.
Slang AI’s Superhost platform helps restaurants deliver more personalized service and keep customers coming back. Demand for AI in restaurants is growing fast, with most operators increasing spending to stay competitive. Slang AI was an early leader in this space and now works with major restaurant groups, delivering up to 20x ROI, doubling phone reservations, and achieving over 95% guest satisfaction.
As high-quality data becomes essential for successful enterprise AI, Slang AI has built a strong advantage with data from over 25 million customer calls and 10 million unique guests. The platform also integrates seamlessly with major reservation and event systems such as OpenTable, SevenRooms, Tripleseat, and Yelp.
Restaurants, hotels, and venues depend on inbound requests to drive revenue, but they often can’t keep up with all the calls, voicemails, emails, and forms they receive each day. According to Slang’s data, up to 50% of restaurant inquiries go unanswered daily, and about 20% come in after hours. On top of that, 10–20% of calls are lost during follow-up, and many private dining and catering requests get delayed after days of back-and-forth.
Founding Farmers Restaurant gives them a strong advantage in understanding how people communicate with restaurants. Customer satisfaction above 95% is rare in enterprise software, and operators truly value the product. With that level of data and happy customers, the company is positioned to lead its category.
Sambvani added, “This funding will help us make the Slang platform more personal, proactive, and intelligent. It will remember more about each guest’s history and preferences, and bring them back with thoughtful, one-to-one outreach. It will also give operators real-time insight into guest experience and team performance, so they can fix issues early and keep improving service. We’re excited to grow the platform and deliver even more value to our customers and investors.”
