NODA AI Raises $25M in Series A Funding

NODA AI, an Austin, Texas-based developer of an algorithmic platform for orchestrating weapons and tactics for multi-domain, multi-vendor systems, has raised $25 Million in a Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

The round also saw participation from Booz Allen Ventures, Draper Associates, Bloomberg Beta, and Alumni Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds to grow faster, expand integration with over 30 existing platforms, and develop new technical capabilities for defense and intelligence markets.

NODA AI Inc., founded in 2024 by Global War on Terrorism veterans, develops a unique platform for orchestrating weapons and tactics across all domains and vendors. The company was created to solve the problem of fragmented, vendor-specific, and overly rigid control systems for unmanned technologies that create operational silos and a high cognitive load for warfighters. NODA AI is building an open, vendor-agnostic platform designed to plan, develop, and deploy algorithmic warfare across manned and unmanned systems.

As an independent cognitive layer, NODA AI partners with OEMs to integrate various vehicles and autonomous capabilities into its 30+ OEM ecosystem. The company also collaborates with government partners to develop cross-platform tactics, using its AI reasoning engine to coordinate large, mixed fleets and turn today’s siloed systems into unified, effective combat power.

The platform is already attracting interest from defense and intelligence officials. It has been chosen over several major competitors for key programs and has proven it can quickly integrate with other vendors, earning strong support from government leaders.

In just 9 months since its pre-seed funding, NODA AI has built the largest technically integrated partner system for defense autonomy and earned multiple awards from major defense programs. The company has also partnered with top defense contractors, including Booz Allen Hamilton and Huntington Ingalls Industries, to speed up development.

“Mass autonomy in defense requires a new kind of algorithmic warfare—a new market and technical approach that NODA AI is pioneering,” said Philong Duong, CEO. “Winning against adversaries comes down to making faster, better decisions, and the next step is coordinating decision-making across independent autonomous systems with diverse capabilities. While much of the defense industry focuses on building the best vehicles—the chess pieces—we are focused on creating the brains, the best chess player: a system that can reason adaptively, handle real-time tactics and strategy, and turn independent capabilities into effective outcomes.”

“NODA AI has been chosen to lead the development of the orchestration layer for our multi-domain collaborative autonomy program. Their work is crucial for advancing the Department’s autonomous forces and supports the Secretary of War’s priorities,” said a senior DoW official. “Their AI technologies allow seamless coordination across unmanned and manned systems in air, space, surface, subsurface, and ground domains, making them key to achieving operational superiority.”

“NODA AI is creating the AI-driven link for defense autonomy, allowing systems to work together seamlessly, and we’re proud to support their team as they shape the future of algorithmic warfare,” said Janelle Teng Wade, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. “Their technical expertise, fast execution, and mission-focused approach deliver real operational advantage,” added Dr. Ray O. Johnson, Operating Partner at Bessemer.

“NODA AI has been our fastest-growing portfolio company and is doing something groundbreaking,” said Paige Craig, Managing Partner of Outlander, who led early investments in defense companies like Scale AI and Havoc AI.

About NODA AI
