
Nexthop AI, a Santa Clara, CA-based AI networking company, has raised $500 million in a Series B funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Andreessen Horowitz.
The round also saw participation from Altimeter and all existing investors.
The company is valued at $4.2 Billion valuation.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations and development work.
Nexthop AI, a leading pioneer in efficient AI networking, has quickly become a top player in advanced AI and cloud networking. The company offers both ready-made and customized switching solutions built on open-source operating systems like SONiC and FBOSS.
Nexthop also introduced products for scale-out, scale-across, and front-end applications in cloud and AI data centers.
