PDW Holdings, Inc., a Huntsville, AL-based drone company developing unmanned systems and solutions for defence and public safety, has raised over $110 million in a Series B funding round led by Ondas.
The round also saw participation from Hood River, Cedar Pine, Hanwha Asset Management’s venture fund, Booz Allen Hamilton, and existing and new investors.
The company plans to use the funds to support future growth and increase the production of its multi-mission drones, along with other key projects.
PDW designs and mass-produces combat robots and software for surveillance, electronic warfare, and strike missions. It works with all branches of the U.S. military, as well as federal, local, and international public safety organizations.
PDW was founded in Huntsville by skilled engineers, drone pilots, and U.S. Special Operations veterans, coming from the fast-paced world of the Drone Racing League. The company offers a range of unmanned systems and software designed to improve mission performance in challenging environments, including drones, a flight simulator, mission planning software, payload systems, range extension tools, and anti-jam radios.

Houlihan Lokey acted as the exclusive financial advisor to PDW for this important defence technology deal.
