Following its Shark Tank appearance, R1SE: Education and Recreation has been focused on converting its increased visibility into growth and expansion. In addition to its existing centers in Freeland and Midland, the company announced a new facility in Frankenmuth, Michigan in November 2025, with after-school programming expected to launch by mid-2026.
R1SE offers a blended learning and recreation environment, combining certified educators with engaging, activity-rich spaces designed to support both academic development and social growth. Students have access to amenities such as a movie theater, gaming lounge, game room, bounce house, “Dunk House” gym, and a loft featuring Beam interactive games.
The company is currently accepting Summer Sessions registrations through its Whole Summer program (Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–4 PM), with pricing between $30 and $55 per session depending on package selection. Bundled options include 16 sessions (1 week) for $400, 32 sessions (2 weeks) for $550, and 48 sessions (3 weeks) for $700. R1SE is also enrolling students for the 2026–2027 school year and offers a high school program in Freeland and Midland at $25 per hour, while also inviting communities to request new locations.
On Shark Tank, the founders initially sought $300,000 for 10% equity. They ultimately struck a deal with Barbara Corcoran, securing $300,000 for 15% equity, structured with repayment over three years.
