Following their appearance on Shark Tank, Hele Outdoors has continued gaining traction in the car camping and vanlife space. The brand is focused on growing its community of campers, nomads, weekend travelers, and overlanders through its adjustable in-vehicle camping platform.
To start 2026, Hele Outdoors attended the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous in Quartzsite, Arizona (January 10–11), an event hosted by the Homes on Wheels Alliance. In March 2026, the company introduced an upgraded aluminum topper with improved grip strips and silencer pads, reflecting customer feedback aimed at enhancing comfort and functionality. Around the same time, founder Murray demonstrated the platform’s fast five-minute setup in Ireland, highlighting its portability in real-world use.
The current Hele Box pricing is structured as follows:

- With sleeping pad: $549
- Hele Box Duo: $499 (no pads) / $699 (with pads)
- Bundles range from $690 to $900 depending on configuration
On Shark Tank, the founders initially asked for $75,000 for 5% equity. They eventually closed a deal with Barbara Corcoran, who invested $75,000 for 12.5% equity.
