CurrentClient, a Provo, UT-based communication platform built for financial advisors, has raised $1.25 million in a Seed funding round led by Thicket Ventures.
The round also saw another investor, Justin Wisz, Partner at Thicket Ventures, join CurrentClient’s Board of Directors.
The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations and accelerate development.
CurrentClient aims to solve this by providing advisors with a dedicated tool that keeps client interactions compliant, efficient, and aligned with modern expectations.
Along with the funding announcement, CurrentClient has named Austin Guest as head of sales. He previously led sales at FINNY, where he gained experience growing go-to-market teams in fintech and advisor-focused SaaS, helping drive adoption across RIAs, broker-dealers, and large wealth platforms.

“CurrentClient is changing how advisors communicate with clients by offering a compliant, easy-to-use phone and messaging system built specifically for financial advisors and planners. The platform is quickly gaining traction as it helps streamline communication, reduce compliance risk, and provide a more modern client experience.”
CurrentClient founder and CEO Dustin Belliston said, “We’re excited to have the support of a respected investor like Thicket Ventures and to welcome Justin to our board. This investment will help us grow and improve how advisors communicate with clients in real time.
“My co-founders, Andrew Clark, Jeff Hutchins, and I, are also excited about the opportunities this funding brings for our company and our clients. Since 2021, regulators have fined dozens of firms over $2.7 billion for violations related to off-channel communications.”
