Natter Raises $23M in Funding

Natter, a NYC-based provider of an AI-native conversation intelligence platform, has raised $23 million in a funding round led by Renegade Partners.

The round also saw participation from Kindred Capital, Costanoa Ventures, Rackhouse Ventures, Village Global, and Asymmetric Capital Partners—the CEO and Co-Founders of Peakon, Beamery, Tessian and Indeed.com.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its engineering, data, and product teams and speed up the development of its platform.

Natter is an AI-based platform that runs many one-on-one video conversations at the same time between employees, customers, and members to capture real feedback at scale. It quickly analyzes this real-time data and turns it into useful insights for sales, strategy, policy, and HR teams—delivering results in hours instead of weeks.

Natter helps companies gather deeper insights much faster than traditional methods like surveys, focus groups, and interviews. Its technology is already used by major organizations such as Accenture, ServiceNow, Mondelez, PwC, and Philip Morris International.

A global study of 300 HR leaders at major companies found that AI conversations perform better than interviews, surveys, and focus groups in many ways:

  • Just 40 minutes of Natter conversations gave more insights than 500+ hours of traditional interviews.
  • The same group produced 40 times more useful voice data compared to focus groups.
  • Conversations uncovered 97%–147% more themes, revealing issues leaders didn’t even know about.
  • All participants felt more comfortable sharing honest opinions compared to surveys or focus groups.
  • 82.3% said these conversations revealed insights that traditional methods completely missed.

Stephen Wroblewski from Accenture said Natter makes it possible to speak with thousands of people in a short time and get insights by the next day, instead of spending weeks on interviews and analysis.

Jacqui Canney from ServiceNow added that Natter helps combine conversations at scale to find real patterns, allowing better decisions across sales, product, leadership, and team development.

“We started Natter with a simple idea: everyone in a company has something important to say, and leaders should be able to hear it clearly, quickly, and at scale,” said Charlie Woodward, CEO and Co-Founder of Natter. “The response from companies like Accenture, ServiceNow, and Philip Morris International shows how urgent this need is. This funding will help us build Natter into a global platform for capturing enterprise voice.”

Kaleen Love of Philip Morris International said Natter helps gather employee insights much faster and at a much larger scale than before. She added that it’s especially useful for research, like interviews and focus groups, to understand employees across the company continuously.

Renata Quintini of Renegade Partners said AI is changing business software, but employee feedback tools are still outdated. She explained that while basic AI models can’t fully understand what’s happening inside a company, Natter can—by capturing real-time conversations and turning them into valuable insights. She believes Natter is well-positioned to change how companies listen, learn, and make decisions.
