Rally, a CRM business focused on user research, has raised $8.8 million in seed money. With participation from Y Combinator and TIA Ventures, Stage 2 Capital led the round. The company plans to use the money to expand the market for its product.
It is a user research CRM that allows teams to access their user base and operate and manage the entire research process. It was co-founded by Oren Friedman and Alec Robins. It enables product managers, designers, and UX researchers at businesses to spend more time doing insightful user research and less time manually recruiting participants.

In order to facilitate research, Rally provides connections with pre-existing data warehouses and CRMs, preserves current user data, and conforms with industry standards like SOC II and HIPAA to protect user data.
