OH-based ActionStreamer $2.4million series A round funding. With assistance from MAGNET, JumpStart Ventures led the financing via the Advanced Manufacturing Fund.
The Cincinnati Reds’ owners, the Castellini Management Company, also contributed to the round. The money will be used by the business to further develop its proprietary all-inclusive technology platform.

Under the direction of CEO Bob Lento, ActionStreamer is a proprietary technology and software platform for streaming media from wearable, Internet of Things, and other connected devices. It was founded in 2016 by former NFL linebacker Dhani Jones and Cincinnati technology entrepreneur Chris McLennan.

The sports, entertainment, telecommunications, industrial, and defense sectors have acknowledged the platform’s innovative data mobility solutions and real-time omnichannel media offers.
