The Top 10 American Startups Funding Deals

Rippling

Rippling, a workforce management startup secures $200million in new funding. Additionally, the business inked contracts with investors to buy back up to $590 million in equity from present and past workers as well as early backers.

Coatue spearheaded the funding, with support from Founders Fund, Greenoaks, and other current investors. Dragoneer is a new investor in the round.

ThreatLocker

ThreatLocker®, a global cybersecurity leader that offers a Zero Trust endpoint security solution, secures $115million in series D round funding led by existing investor General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm, with participation from other major investors StepStone Group and the D. E. Shaw group.

With the new investment, it will continue to focus on driving product innovation to bring the power of Zero Trust security to more organizations and accelerating the company’s global expansion.

PinkDx

PinkDx, Inc., an early-stage company focused on positively impacting the health of women throughout their life journey, secures $40million in series A round funding.

The company will use the funds to pursue its vision of identifying unmet medical needs that are unique to women, addressing them with scientific rigor, and providing answers that have an immediate, positive impact on their lives.

Nominal

Nominal is a firm that specialises in providing industrial engineering teams with end-to-end data analysis solutions raised $7.5M in Seed and $20M in Series A funding rounds funding.

General Catalyst led the Series A, while Lux Capital led the Seed round with support from Founders Fund. Haystack VC, XYZ Ventures, Human Capital, Box Group, and Overmatch were among the other investors.

Exowatt

A renewable energy firm called Exowatt has raised $20 million in seed funding. Among the backers were Atomic, Sam Altman, and a16z. With the help of its first batch of data centre clients, the firm plans to grow its workforce and implement the Exowatt P3.

Exowatt, a company co-founded by Jack Abraham and Hannan Parvizian, offers a modular energy platform intended to power data centres that require a lot of energy.

Sublime Security

Sublime Security, a provider of an AI-powered, programmable email security platform, secures $20million in series A round funding.

Index Ventures led the round, with Slow Ventures and Decibel Partners, two prior investors, joining. Dmitri Alperovitch became a member of the Board of Directors and the investment round.

Chemix

Chemix , a EV-battery developer secures $20million in Series A Round Funding. Ibex Investors led the funding round, and the following investors also contributed: Porsche Ventures, Berkeley SkyDeck, Mayfield Fund, Urban Innovation Fund, BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund (SIVF), Global Brain’s KDDI Open Innovation Fund III (KDDI CVC), and SIVF.

The business plans to utilise the money to grow the number of people working on software, hardware, and AI/ML development in addition to expanding its sales and marketing staff.

401GO

401GO, the next-generation retirement plan provider for employers, advisors and individuals, secures $12million in series A funding, led by Next Frontier Capital.

Additional investors include Rally Ventures, who joined existing investors Impression Ventures, and Stout Street Capital that participated in the new investment.

Summer Health

Summer Health, a digital health startup that provides parents with round-the-clock paediatric assistance, has raised $11.65 million in its series A round of investment.

New investment 7wire Ventures and returning investor Lux Capital co-led the round. Along with new investors Pivotal Ventures, a Melinda French Gates firm, and Leaps by Bayer, the returning investors Sequoia Capital, Metrodora Ventures, Box Group, and Shrug Capital took part.

Dripos

Dripos comprehensive software platform built specifically for coffee shops secures $11million in series A round funding.

It led the investment, and other participants included Ian Crosby, the creator of Bench and Teal and a former Head of Fintech at Shopify, Michael Siebel of Y Combinator, and Shyam Rao, the founder of Punchh, which Partech purchased for more than $500 million.
