- Funds will accelerate AI products, MavenAI, hiring, and platform expansion.
ApartmentIQ, a real-time market intelligence, revenue management, and AI platform for the multifamily real estate industry, has secured a $25 million follow-on investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE). The latest funding builds on SGE’s $22.5 million Series B investment in 2021, when ApartmentIQ operated as Rentable.
The company will use the new capital to expand its platform, accelerate AI product development, and grow its engineering, data, product, and go-to-market teams.
The investment highlights ApartmentIQ’s transformation from a consumer-focused apartment marketplace into an integrated technology platform for multifamily operators. The company now helps property owners and operators track market movements, optimize rental revenue, and automate marketing and operational workflows using AI.
Within two years, ApartmentIQ has grown to support more than 1,500 portfolios and approximately 8 million customer units, including 70% of the NMHC Top 50.
The company’s core market survey platform provides daily, unit-level pricing and availability data using publicly available information. This replaces traditional manual market surveys and gives operators faster access to competitive pricing intelligence.

Leadership Comments
“When SGE first invested, we had a strong business helping people find apartments. Today, we’re building products that help multifamily operators see their markets in real time, make more predictive decisions, and automate more of the manual work required to compete,” said Alec Slocum, Co-Founder and CEO of ApartmentIQ. “SGE has been an exceptional partner through a period of significant transformation for the business. This investment accelerates our vision for a broader multifamily platform powered by real-time public data and AI.”
“Since our initial investment, Alec and his team have consistently translated product innovation into meaningful adoption across the multifamily industry as AI tools take hold,” said Josh Elser, Managing Director at Susquehanna Growth Equity. “The Company’s expansion and effective utilization of AI to provide real-time market intelligence, revenue management, and marketing automation reflects a platform that is both broadening its capabilities and becoming increasingly critical for operators and owners. We are pleased to continue supporting ApartmentIQ as it scales into its next phase of growth.”
