California-Based Levi Strauss & Co. Appoints John Vandemore as CFO

Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed John Vandemore as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 1, 2026.

  • Levi Strauss appointed John Vandemore as CFO.
  • He joins from Skechers, where he was CFO for nine years.
  • He replaces Harmit Singh, who is retiring.

Vandemore brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience across global consumer, retail and entertainment companies.

He joins Levi Strauss & Co. from Skechers, where he served as CFO for nine years. He led the company’s global finance team and also oversaw its operations.

During his time at Skechers, the company expanded to become the world’s third-largest footwear brand, operating in more than 180 countries and across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. Its revenue nearly tripled to more than $9 billion.

In April 2026, Levi Strauss & Co. announced that Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial & Growth Officer Harmit Singh plans to retire after a transition period.

Singh will remain in his current role until Vandemore join's the company. He will then serve as a Special Advisor through November 30, 2026, to support a smooth transition.
