TX-based Ara Partners Secures over $3 Billion in New Funding Commitments. After a successful fundraising campaign, the Firm has closed on $2.8 billion in limited partner commitments for Ara Fund III (“Fund III” or the “Fund”), in addition to specialised limited partner co-investment vehicles.

With the support of Ara’s current investor base as well as a diverse group of new institutional investors from North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds, the Fund was significantly oversubscribed at an increased hard cap, surpassing its initial target of $2 billion.

The Fund will seek buyout and growth investments in industrial companies, primarily headquartered in the United States, Canada, and Europe, with the potential to achieve decreases in carbon emissions across sectors, including industrial and manufacturing, chemicals and materials, energy efficiency and green fuels, food and agriculture, and so on. The Fund will do this by leveraging significant technical and operations expertise.
