Arcade Raises $60M in Series A Funding Led by SYN Ventures

Jun 16, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Arcade, a San Francisco, CA-based action layer for production AI agents, has raised $60 million in a Series A funding round led by SYN Ventures.

The funding round also included investments from Morgan Stanley and Wipro. Including its $12 million seed round raised in 2025, the company has now secured a total of $72 million in funding.

Many enterprises are trying to deploy AI agents, but few successfully move beyond pilot projects. One major challenge is security, as organizations often cannot clearly track which agent acted, on whose behalf, or which systems were involved.

Current solutions such as MCP gateways, and integration tools mainly route traffic, but they do not provide the authorization, execution or governance needed for secure agent actions. Arcade addresses this gap by providing a secure action layer that helps organizations safely deploy AI agents in production.

Arcade created the MCP authorization specification that Anthropic later adopted. Its platform is already being used in production by some of the world's largest banks and enterprises, including a major U.S. bank, Prosus, and LangChain. The company has seen tool call volume grow 25 times over the past six months and has developed more tools for delegated user authorization than the rest of the ecosystem combined.

“As enterprises increasingly utilize AI agents across their operations, Arcade has developed the infrastructure to help ensure proper authorization and governance. We are pleased to be investing in this round to support the companys growth and continued development,” said Zheng Wang Head of Strategic Investments at Morgan Stanley.

"Every wave of enterprise software has eventually hit the same wall, where adoption outruns the infrastructure that makes it safe. Agents are at that wall right now. Arcade is the only company we've seen that built for the production reality from day one, which is why every serious enterprise agent deployment is going to run through them," said Jay Leek, Arcade Board Director & Managing Partner at SYN Ventures.

"Agents don't fail in production because the model is wrong," said Co-founder and CEO Alex Salazar. "They fail because nobody can prove that for any given action by an agent, whether that agent on behalf of that user can perform that action on that resource. That's what we built."
