James Mennell, Aimium’s CEO said, “This new capital will enable us to accelerate the development of additional production facilities that will provide a renewable alternative to fossil fuels in metals production and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by millions of tonnes per year,”.

Fortress and Kilonova are leading providers of intellectual property-backed capital solutions to companies. Aymium holds one of the world’s largest intellectual property portfolios for biocarbon technology, with over 500 issued and pending patents.

The capital provided by Fortress and Kilonova will be used to support the continued innovation and development of it’s environmental technologies, and to ensure patent protection for these innovations.

James Palmer, Managing Director at Fortress said, “Aymium has developed a unique technology and differentiated intellectual property portfolio in the biocarbon space and we are excited to be able to provide working capital to accelerate their growth,”.

Wes Goldstein, general partner at Kilonova, said, “Aymium’s innovation and breadth of patent portfolio for biocarbon products that are decarbonizing key industries is unmatched. We are excited to deploy capital to enable continued innovation and the development of additional production capacity to serve Aymium’s $20 billion customer pipeline.”
