Aikido Technologies, a floating wind startup has raised over-subscribed $4 million Series Seed funding round led by Azolla Ventures with participation from Propeller Ventures, Sabanci Climate Ventures, Cisco Foundation, Anthropocene Ventures, and others.

The capital will be used by Aikido to further technology for offshore deployment and the development of its team. The technology is already supported at present by Breakthrough Energy Fellows, providing financing for Aikido’s first pilot deployment, called the Aikido One.
