Discovered Materials, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI agent platform that discovers and accelerates the adoption of new materials for semiconductor chips, has raised $9 million in a Seed funding round led by Lightspeed India Partners.
The round also saw participation from Y Combinator and Peak XV Partners, as well as angel investors including Paul Graham, Gokul Rajaram, and Thariq Shihipar.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its team, grow its laboratory capabilities, and scale its AI research agents.
