Gimlet Labs, a San Francisco, CA-based artificial intelligence infrastructure and distributed software platform provider, has raised $300 million in a Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) at a $3 billion valuation.
The round also saw participation from Sapphire Ventures, Menlo Ventures, 645 Ventures, Arm, Eclipse, Emergence Capital, Factory, Hudson River Trading, M12, OnePrime Capital, Prosperity7, QuantumLight, Samsung Ventures, Tiger Global Management, Triatomic, Wing Venture Capital, and XTX Markets.
The company will use the capital to expand its multi-silicon cloud, secure high-density data center capacity, grow managed cloud deployments, and expand its team.
