Cape, a mobile provider that prioritises privacy, raises $61 million. A* and Andreessen Horowitz lead the round. Participating firms included XYZ Ventures, ex/ante, Costanoa Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Forward Deployed VC, and Karman Ventures.
The money will be used by the startup to construct a national mobile network that will conceal personally identifiable information such as names, numbers, and whereabouts while offering premium wireless coverage.
