CertifID, an Austin, TX-based provider of a wire fraud protection platform for the real estate industry, has raised $47.5 million in a Series C funding round led by Centana Growth Partners.
The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations and continue developing its products.
CertifID has blocked more than $285 million in confirmed fraud in 2025, verified over 1.5 million mortgage payoffs, and returned more than $126 million to victims so far. With new funding and two experienced executives joining, the company is in a stronger position to protect consumers and businesses. “Fraud attacks are becoming more frequent and advanced in the age of AI,” said Tyler Adams, Co-Founder and CEO of CertifID. “Josh and Liz are joining at a key time, and together we’re raising the standard for protecting important transactions.”
Josh Linn has joined as Chief Product Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in building systems for banking, payments, identity, and fintech. He will lead product, design and data strategy, focusing on making real estate transactions more secure, faster, and easier to use.

Before joining CertifID, Josh Linn held senior leadership roles at major banks and most recently at Socure. His work has supported products used by billions of people worldwide, covering areas like onboarding, fraud prevention, payments and compliance. He is also an inventor on multiple patents related to identity systems and has advised organizations on AI governance.
Liz Conn has joined CertifID as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing strong experience in growing B2B SaaS companies and building brands. She will focus on strengthening CertifID’s brand, and raising awareness about wire fraud, a major risk for real estate professionals and consumers.
Most recently, Conn was SVP of Marketing at Sayari, where she helped grow the business into a leader in risk solutions for global organizations. Before that, she led growth marketing at Logi Analytics, including during its acquisition by Insight Software. “CertifID has the right timing, mission, and support to succeed,” she said. “Wire fraud is a serious issue in real estate, and many people don’t realize the risk until it’s too late. There’s a big opportunity to change that, and I’m excited to help lead that effort.”
“Wire fraud in real estate is not a small issue—it’s a major challenge in financial services today,” said Josh Linn. “What attracted me to CertifID is the chance to build more than just transaction protection. The systems we’re creating for identity, payments, and trust can become the base for a broader financial platform connected to the home. This Series C funding gives us the support to build it properly and at scale.”
