Healthy Paws, a U.S.-based managing general agent (MGA) with a focus on pet insurance, will be acquired by Chubb from Aon plc, a prominent worldwide provider of professional services.
Through the deal, it will be able to grow in a specialised market without significant room for expansion. The deal’s financial details were kept under wraps; a second-quarter closing is anticipated.

It has served as Aon’s sole insurer for the Healthy Paws pet insurance programme since 2013. Healthy Paws and Chubb have a long-standing connection that sets them prepared for rapid expansion and facilitates a smooth transition for staff members, clients, and other business partners.
