Avatar Robotics, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an industrial labor platform, has raised $6.5 million in a Seed funding round led by AlleyCorp alongside a Pre-Seed round led by defy.vc.

The round also saw participation from Headline, Henry Ford III, Refashiond, Paul Vogel, Jack Huffard, and Samuel Udotong.

The company will use the capital to expand customer deployments, develop autonomy software, scale its robot fleet and grow its engineering and operations teams.
