Corca, a New York-based software company building a collaborative workspace for mathematics, has raised $7.8M in seed funding round led by NEA.
The round also saw participation from Bloomberg Beta, Daft Capital, and NVentures, NVIDIA’s venture capital arm.
The company plans to use the funding to improve its products, enhance its AI technology, and grow its engineering team.
Corca, founded in 2023, is building a collaborative math workspace where users can write equations, perform calculations, use AI assistance, and work together in real time.
The founders previously ran competing grocery delivery startups that later failed after unsuccessful acquisition deals. The company aims to make working with mathematical notation easier and more collaborative than tools like MATLAB and LaTeX.
