Rocketlane, a San Francisco, California-based provider of an AI-powered platform for implementation and professional services teams, has received a strategic investment from Atlassian Ventures. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company will use the funding to expand its operations and support product development.
The rise of AI is changing how professional services teams work, from the tools they use to how projects are planned, priced, staffed, and measured. Rocketlane believes that companies willing to rethink and modernize their delivery models will be best positioned to lead the industry in the years ahead.
Rocketlane supports the entire professional services lifecycle, including project management, resource planning, financial management, and customer delivery. Its AI platform, Nitro, automates repetitive tasks such as system migrations, configurations, environment setup, and documentation, helping teams reduce delivery effort by as much as 50% in early deployments.

Nitro also automates many back-office tasks, including timesheet management, utilization tracking, and compliance activities. By reducing administrative work, the platform allows consultants to spend more time on high-value work and improving customer outcomes.
"AI isn't just changing how PS teams do their work. It's challenging every assumption about what that work should look like in the first place. How you scope a project, how you price it, how you draw the line between human judgment and agent execution… these are all open questions now. The temptation is to take everything you know and layer AI on top of it. We think that's the wrong instinct, "said Srikrishnan Ganesan, CEO and Co-founder, Rocketlane.
"We're seeing AI create meaningful opportunities for disruption across industries. Rocketlane's thoughtful approach to launching AI agent-led experiences for implementation services and consulting teams is exciting. Seeing our own services team at Atlassian choose Rocketlane was compelling proof of their momentum and the strength of their product in the category, "said Georgia Zhang, Head of Atlassian Ventures.
