Corgi Insurance has announced that insurance industry veteran Robert E. "Rob" Barlow Jr. has joined the company to support its continued growth.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience, he will help expand the company's insurance programs for community associations, condominiums, homeowners associations, and the broader property and casualty market.

Rob Barlow has extensive experience in specialty commercial insurance for community associations, including condominiums, homeowners associations, resorts, active adult communities, high-rise properties, and other residential risks. His expertise supports Corgi Insurance's goal of modernizing insurance services and providing faster, easier coverage for businesses and specialized markets.

Most recently, Rob Barlow held a leadership role at RealManage Insurance Services, where he helped build the company's insurance division from the ground up. He contributed to more than $20 million in written premiums through strong sales efforts and broker partnerships, while also helping expand the business nationwide and develop insurance programs for community associations.

Earlier in his career, Barlow held senior leadership positions at Acrisure, NFP Property & Casualty, Brown & Brown Insurance, and Wachovia Insurance (now Wells Fargo). During his career, he managed businesses generating between $1.5 million and $30 million in revenue, led multiple offices and large teams, and helped drive significant new business growth.

"Community association insurance is a highly specialized market where coverage quality, carrier relationships and operational execution matter," said Barlow. "I'm excited to support Corgi as it applies technology, underwriting intelligence and modern infrastructure to create better insurance experiences."

"Rob's track record in both community association insurance and broader brokerage operations makes him an important voice as we continue building insurance products for complex, underserved segments of the market," said Nico Laqua, co-founder and CEO of Corgi. "His perspective will help us better understand the needs of brokers, property owners, associations, and businesses as we scale our platform."
