Coworked, a Boston, Massachusetts-based developer of an agentic AI project management platform for enterprises, has raised $1.8 million in a funding round co-led by Open Opportunity Fund and Two Ravens, with participation from Underdog Labs and Techstars.
The company plans to use the funding to grow its engineering and deployment teams, strengthen integrations with enterprise platforms, and expand its sales and go-to-market efforts.
Enterprise PMOs and transformation teams have spent years adopting new tools, but the real challenge is not software — it is the shortage of project management capacity. According to the Project Management Institute, the industry will need 25 million more project managers by 2030, and there are not enough people to fill that demand. Coworked Harmony aims to help solve this gap.
Coworked Harmony is designed to handle the coordination, follow-up, and administrative tasks that take up much of a project manager’s time. Instead of adding another dashboard or requiring teams to learn new software, Harmony works through the tools companies already use, including email, chat, voice, and project management platforms such as Microsoft Project & Planner, Jira, Smartsheet, Fluid, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and NH360.
The platform works in the background to coordinate teams, manage timelines and risks, schedule meetings, track actions and create status reports. Over time, Harmony learns how the organization operates by building context across teams, systems and stakeholders, helping support project execution more effectively.
"Project managers should be spending more time on leadership, judgment, and stakeholder alignment, not chasing updates or keeping logs current," said Shawn Harris, PMP, CEO and Co-Founder of Coworked. "Harmony handles the execution grind so PMs can focus on strategy and stakeholders. We built this because we lived it while working in Fortune 500 enterprises. We knew exactly where the work breaks down."

"Agentic AI can fill critical talent gaps by adding AI workers into an enterprise. Project management is one of the clearest examples of where this shift will happen: work that has historically required human coordination, follow-through, and judgment can now be done by AI agents," said Paul Judge, Chairman and Managing Partner at Open Opportunity Fund. "Coworked's team brings the subject matter expertise in enterprise project management to understand the workflows and organizational dynamics needed to build a solution that works inside large organizations."
About Coworked
Founded in 2023 by Shawn Harris, Ravi Linganuri, and Sulak Soysa, Coworked created Harmony, an AI-powered project management coworker for enterprise teams. Harmony handles coordination, follow-up, and administrative project tasks without requiring companies to adopt a new interface or dashboard. The platform helps enterprise PMOs increase capacity by automating much of the work project managers typically handle, using the systems and tools organizations already have in place.
