Why the Funding Matters

Brellium will use the funding to expand its operations and product development.

The company also plans to extend its platform further into the revenue cycle and support additional clinical specialties, including cardiology, pain management and primary care.

Who founded Brellium?

Brellium was founded in 2021 by Zach Rosen, Henry Kasa, Max Katzman and Alex Le-Tu.

The company is headquartered in New York City and focuses on AI-powered clinical compliance and revenue integrity.

"Providers and payers have been stuck fighting the same fraud, waste and abuse problem from opposite sides of the table for years," said Zach Rosen, co-founder and CEO of Brellium. "CortexLM is how we get everyone working from the same standard, so providers can prove the care was right the first time, instead of spending months untangling it after the fact."

"We were excited to double down and back Brellium again because of their exceptional execution since first starting to work with them," said Henry Toole, partner at Left Lane Capital. “The team is laser-focused on creating a product that adds real value for their customers.

Market and Business Growth

Brellium has audited 22 million patient visits and helped protect nearly $2 billion in provider revenue from recoupments, according to the company.

Its customer base includes more than 215,000 providers and 200 provider groups across all 50 US states. Customers include Gentiva, Maxim Healthcare, Rula and Headspace.

Headspace expanded it's clinical quality assurance program from reviewing 2% of therapy notes to 100% after adopting Brellium. The company also reported 99.2% provider compliance with documentation standards.
