Avantor Announces Gerard (Jerry) Porreca as Executive Vice President

Avantor, a global provider of essential products and services for life sciences and advanced technology industries, announced that Gerard Porreca has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Quality and Regulatory.

In this role, Gerard Porreca will lead global quality assurance, quality systems, and regulatory affairs across all Avantor businesses.

Gerard Porreca is an experienced executive with strong expertise in quality, regulatory affairs, and compliance across life sciences, medical technology, and healthcare industries.

He joined Avantor from Getinge, where he led global quality and regulatory functions, supporting product approvals and regulatory transformation across the U.S., EU MDR and China. Before joining Getinge, he held senior leadership roles at Becton, Dickinson & Company, C.R. Bard and Smith & Nephew.
