Arca Raises $48.5M in Series A Funding Led by General Catalyst

Arca, a NYC-based AI-native wealth management company, has raised $48.5 million in a Series A funding round led by General Catalyst.
The round also saw participation from Index Ventures and Venrock. The raise followed its $15.5 million seed round led by Venrock, bringing the total amount to $64 million.
The company plans to use the funding to grow its client base, expand its advisory team, and continue improving its platform and brand.
More than one-third of U.S. households lack access to personalized wealth management, even though they hold trillions of dollars in assets. With services spread across more than 15,000 registered investment advisors, the quality of advice can vary widely. Advisors also spend much of their time on administrative tasks instead of working directly with clients.

Arca combines personalized financial advice with AI-powered tools that automate routine and repetitive work. This allows advisors to spend more time with clients, deliver more tailored advice, and improve client outcomes while reducing the burden of back-office tasks.
“At General Catalyst, we’re always excited to back founders and initiatives that tackle complex problems that aim to redefine entire industries,” said Alex Tran, managing director at General Catalyst. “Arca's approach empowers advisors by eliminating operational friction while elevating the human connection at the center of great wealth management, and we couldn’t be more excited to support this mission," added Nat Levy-Westhead, partner at General Catalyst.
"Rron and Arca are on the cusp of something revolutionary in wealth management," said Nick Beim, Partner at Venrock. "It's exciting to support such a forward-thinking venture. Arca has immense potential to improve client outcomes and fundamentally change the scalability of the wealth management enterprise. We are eager to see how the company continues to push the innovative frontiers of the industry.”
“At Index Ventures, we back founders who refuse to accept the status quo,” said Jahanvi Sardana, partner at Index Ventures. “Wealth management is one of the last places where technology has barely moved in twenty years, while the customer has changed completely. Rron understands that gap better than anyone we’ve met – Arca is being built for how people actually want to manage their money. We’re thrilled to be backing him.”
“Rron understands that AI can help power the mechanics behind wealth management – but the financial advisor is ultimately the driving engine,” said Bill McNabb, former CEO and chairman of Vanguard Group. “The role of the advisor is paramount, and it’s what creates real, long-lasting impact. AI can help us do our jobs better, but it will never supplant the humanity of this profoundly personal profession. Arca uniquely balances embracing AI while empowering advisors as our true financial custodians.”
“We tend to think about money as all about numbers,” said Morgan Housel, author of The Psychology of Money. “That’s part of it, but our finances – and how we manage them – are actually much more so rooted in behavior. Rron devised Arca with this nuance at the forefront. It frees up financial advisors to carry the responsibility of overseeing and protecting the full ecosystem of someone’s wealth, and all of the emotional complexities accompanying it – ambition, pride, and fear included.”
“Trusting someone to responsibly and effectively manage your finances can be extraordinarily stressful,” said Jason Wenk, founder and CEO of Altruist. “People take immense pride in what they earn and deserve to feel financially secure. Rron is one of those rare innovators that not only intuitively grasps this reality but also boldly addresses this pain point head-on through his efforts at Arca.
