Minneapolis-Based Protolabs Appoints Sam Ramahi as COO

In his new role, Ramahi will help Protolabs support customers from prototype to production while improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost across its operations.

Ramahi will oversee global operations, supply chain, quality, sourcing and continuous improvement. He will report to CEO Suresh Krishna, who will continue to oversee the company's overall operations.

Ramahi brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in global manufacturing and industrial companies. He has spent his career building and improving complex manufacturing and supply chain operations around the world.

Ramahi most recently served as Vice President of North America Operations at SIG Group, where he led 1,300 employees across five manufacturing sites. He helped improve delivery, customer response and inventory management while maintaining stable operations.

Before SIG Group, he was Chief Operating Officer at Jacuzzi Group and held leadership roles at nVent, Eaton, Cooper Industries, Honeywell, and GE Healthcare. His experience includes manufacturing, Lean and Six Sigma, quality, and customer operations across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
