May 14, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Mind Robotics, a Palo Alto, CA-based industrial robotics company, has raised $400 million in a funding round led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from new investors including Meritech Capital, Redpoint Ventures, SV Angel, Incharge Capital, A-Star Capital, and Garuda Ventures, as well as existing investors including Accel, Andreessen Horowitz, Eclipse, Prysm Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, and Greenoaks.

This follows a $115M seed round in late 2025 and a $500M Series A in March 2026, bringing the company’s total funding to over $1 billion.

The company plans to use the funding to expand the deployment of AI-powered robots in real manufacturing environments.

Mind Robotics is building an industrial robotics platform that combines AI foundation models, advanced hardware and deployment systems to automate complex manufacturing tasks at scale. The company works closely with Rivian, which also serves as a key partner and shareholder, providing a real manufacturing environment for training and deploying its systems.

"We are excited about the technology and product roadmap we are developing at Mind, with a focus on scaled deployments,” said RJ Scaringe, Founder of Mind Robotics. “We are proud to have Kleiner Perkins and our full investor coalition behind us.”
