QXO Appoints Ken West as Chief Operating Officer

QXO, Inc. has appointed Ken West as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective September 1, 2026. West will report to CEO Brad Jacobs and oversee QXOs day to day operations.

West brings more than 20 years of experience leading large industrial businesses across operations, strategy, finance, and business integration. He joins QXO from Honeywell Technologies, where he most recently served as President and CEO of Honeywell Process Technology.

At Honeywell, West led major business transformation efforts, including the acquisition and integration of Johnson Matthey's Catalyst Technologies business.

West joined Honeywell in 2018 and quickly took on leadership roles across three major business segments. Before leading Honeywell Process Technology, he served as CEO of Energy and Sustainability Solutions, CEO of Honeywell UOP, and President of Honeywell Advanced Materials.

In his latest role, West helped make Process Technology more focused on growth, including the spin-off of Solstice Advanced Materials. He also led the acquisition of Sundyne and its integration with Honeywell's automation and digital platforms.

Before joining Honeywell, West spent 13 years at PPG Industries, where he held leadership roles in operations, integration, corporate planning, and finance. He also led the integration of AkzoNobel's North American Architectural Coatings business, helping PPG become the world's largest coatings company.
