BrainChild Bio, a Seattle, WA-based provider of CAR T-cell therapies to treat tumors in the central nervous system, has raised $116M in a Series A funding round led by an undisclosed private family fund and foundation.

The round also saw participation from Seattle Children’s and WRF Capital.

The company will use the funding to support the ILLUMINATE Phase 2 study of BCB-276 for diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) and continue development of BCB-214, a triple-targeting CAR T cell therapy for glioblastoma.
