AI Startup Eliza Appoints Lori Borg as Chief Operating Officer

Borg will oversee Eliza’s operations as the company expands its work with OpenAI and helps more businesses adopt and build AI systems for real-world use.

Borg brings more than 20 years of experience in building and growing technology businesses across the Microsoft ecosystem. She founded Northwest Cadence, a Microsoft partner focused on DevOps, software development, data, and AI.

Northwest Cadence was acquired by 10th Magnitude in 2018, which was later acquired by Cognizant. Borg then served as Cognizant’s Global Head of the Microsoft Alliance, led MCA Connect’s Azure, data, and AI business, and most recently worked as Microsoft’s Vice President of Go-to-Market for Americas Enterprise Partner Sales.

Eliza was recently named an OpenAI Advanced Partner and is expanding its team, industry expertise, and global operations. As COO, Borg will help build the systems needed to support this growth while maintaining the speed and quality of service expected by its clients.
