Empower Appoints Andrew Sinclair as Government Affairs Officer

Sinclair brings more than 20 years of public affairs experience to Empower as the company expands production of American-made lithium carbonate for the defense, energy and manufacturing sectors.

He will oversee government relations, media and communications as Empower works to support U.S. strategic interests in critical minerals. The company aims to strengthen the domestic lithium supply chain by managing the process from the wellhead to the customer.

Before joining Empower, Sinclair spent nine years at ExxonMobil, where he led state government relations in the Northeast and helped build the company’s public and government affairs team in Guyana.

During his time at ExxonMobil, he received a global innovation award for developing an advocacy campaign that helped change New Jersey’s corporate law. His experience covers public affairs across energy, infrastructure and manufacturing.
