Vedanta Biosciences, a Cambridge, MA-based provider of microbiome-based oral therapies for gastrointestinal diseases, has raised $60M in a funding round led by AMR Action Fund and BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts, with participation from BARDA.

The company will use the capital to support its Phase 3 RESTORATiVE303 study of VE303 for preventing recurrent C. difficile infection.
