NYC-based acupuncture company WTHN secures $5m in series A round funding. L Catterton led the round, in which Halogen Ventures, Annie Evans, Caroline Witmer, Kelley Arena, and the angel community of The Helm also participated.
The company is going to use the funds to boost its efforts to distribute its products and expand its brick and mortar presence.

WTHN was founded in 2019 by Michelle Larivee and provides at-home acupressure and other goods in addition to in-person treatments including cupping and acupuncture.
The company intends to expand its presence in New York and around the nation, and in January 2024 it will launch WTHN Williamsburg, its second physical facility. Currently, approximately 200 store partners provide its at-home products, and they may also be purchased online at sites like Erewhon, Poosh, and Goop.
